Why do we say life is a roller coaster? Because just like a roller coaster, life is full of ups and downs, but at least on a roller coaster, you get a safety harness. Imagine if life came with a safety harness – you could just strap in and enjoy the ride, no matter how wild it gets!
I once saw a man so stressed out at work, he looked like he was about to explode. I offered him a balloon and suggested he blow into it. He looked at me puzzled, and I said, “If you’re going to explode, at least let’s make it a colorful event!”
They say money can’t buy happiness, but have you ever seen someone cry in a Ferrari? Sure, they might be crying because they can’t afford the gas, but at least they’re doing it in style!
I heard an apple tree complaining to the gardener, “Why do humans pick my fruit but leave me standing? If they’re going to take my children, they should at least take me too!” The gardener replied, “Because your fruit is sweet, and you… well, you’re a bit too woody.”
Ever wonder why we’re told to “break a leg” before a performance? Maybe it’s because if you actually broke a leg, you’d have a fantastic excuse for a bad show. “Sorry, folks, I would’ve nailed that high note, but my femur had other plans!”
Some folks argue that diets are the key to a healthy life. But if dieting made us truly healthy, why do salad bars close so early? Meanwhile, pizza places are open late into the night, ready to embrace us with cheesy comfort. It’s almost like the universe is telling us something.
