Why did the moon apply for a desk job?

It was tired of being overshadowed by the sun all the time. The moon thought, “If I can’t outshine the sun, maybe I can at least sit in an office and get some peace and quiet.” It even brought its own chair—a rocking one, because it’s used to moving slowly and steadily through the night sky. But when the moon got to the office, it realized it couldn’t handle the paperwork. All those forms and memos were just too much after years of dealing with nothing but lunar cycles. So, the moon decided to stick to its night shift, where the only thing it has to deal with is the occasional eclipse.

Did you know that if you give a fish a bicycle, it’ll never ask you for anything else?

One day, a man walked into a pet store and saw a fish eyeing a bicycle hanging on the wall. He thought, “This fish must be dreaming big.” So, he bought the bicycle and gave it to the fish. The fish, thrilled, rode off into the sunset, never to be seen again. The man later realized that the fish probably just wanted the bike to get away from its boring fishbowl life. He felt a bit guilty but then thought, “Well, at least now the fish has a new hobby. It’s probably out there joining a fish cycling club or something.” And the man never bought a bike for a pet again, sticking to the old saying, “Don’t give a fish a bicycle unless you’re ready to lose it to the open road.”

What did the clock say to the calendar when they got into an argument?

“You’re always jumping ahead to next month, while I’m stuck here ticking away the seconds. Why can’t you just slow down and enjoy the moment?” The calendar replied, “Easy for you to say, you’ve got nothing but time on your hands. I’ve got to keep track of holidays, birthdays, and all sorts of events. It’s a lot of pressure!” The clock sighed and said, “Well, maybe we should team up. You can help me keep track of the bigger picture, and I’ll remind you to take a break every now and then.” And so, they decided to work together, realizing that time and dates are better when they’re in sync.
