Why do we call it a “smartphone”

Why do we call it a “smartphone” when it keeps interrupting us with notifications? It’s like having a know-it-all friend who won’t stop talking about their new diet.

I once saw a tree that was so old and wise, it started giving me life advice. It said, “You know, humans, you’re always in such a hurry. Take a leaf out of my book – stand still and enjoy the breeze.” I told it, “Thanks, but I’m trying to avoid becoming furniture.”

If procrastination were an Olympic sport, I’d be training for the next games. But then again, I’d probably wait until the last minute to start training. Imagine the excitement of winning a gold medal in doing nothing!

Have you ever noticed how a book can transport you to another world, yet it’s just sitting quietly on your shelf? It’s like a silent portal that only opens when you decide to dive in. Meanwhile, my TV remote is always yelling at me to find it.

They say laughter is the best medicine, but have you tried chocolate? It’s like a hug for your soul, and it doesn’t require a prescription. Plus, you can share it with friends, unlike that cold, distant bottle of cough syrup.

I heard a rumor that time flies when you’re having fun, but I think it’s more like a sneaky ninja. One minute you’re enjoying yourself, and the next, time has vanished without a trace. It’s a good thing we have clocks to keep it somewhat accountable.

Ever wonder why we say “break a leg” to wish someone good luck? It’s like we’re secretly hoping they’ll need a cast to remember the occasion. But if you really want to make an impression, try wishing them a “smooth sneeze” instead.
